Black Friday is the annual kickoff to the holiday shopping season. This is a crucial time of year for retailers as they earn the bulk of their annual sales revenue in November and December. The promise of steep savings is what draws millions of consumers to stores and websites alike. These deals, which are typically limited and in short supply, are known as doorbusters. But are they really the best deals out there?
Generally speaking, in-store Black Friday discounts offer higher discounts than the average shopping day, while online savings fall around the 20 percent mark. But the real question is whether these deals are truly worth the hassle and expense.
NerdWallet surveyed a representative sample of US adults to compare in-store and online doorbuster prices.
If you’re a fan of the LearnDash Black Friday Deal theme, you can also get 50% off its license with this Black Friday deal. The deal is valid from NOW until November 30th and doesn’t require any coupon code to be applied. Kadence is owned by StellarWP, which also owns LearnDash, so I expect to see some additional integrations between the two in the future.
Other discounts available this Black Friday include 20% off all themes and plugins from WBCom, 30% off the Reign Theme Bundle and its add-ons, BuddyX, PeepSo, EDD Sell Services, and Woo Sell Services, and 25% off App Presser – which lets you create mobile apps for your WordPress site without coding skills.
There are also a few freebies available. For example, GeneratePress is a fast, clean, and intuitive theme that works well with LearnDash and other WordPress plugins. It also has support for most major page builders. You can get the Pro version for $44 or the lifetime bundle for $219.
Real Big Plugins has a new plugin for LearnDash called Gradebook, which allows you to easily create and display a gradebook for assignments and quizzes. The plugin comes with both backend and front-end grade reporting for admins and instructors. It also integrates with the Infusionsoft membership management system.
